Terms & Conditions
- All appliances and materials remain the property of Align Kitchens until payment has been received in full.
- Any plans or sketch-ups remain the property of Align Kitchens until the installation is completed payment is received in full. Please note that they are not intended for manufacture and may not be to scale.
- The check measure appointment allows us to get exact dimensions, plans and measurements of your job. All decisions must be finalised at check measure as your job will start to be processed, cut and assembled immediately thereafter.
- Often it can take a few hours for dust to settle, or products to set making it difficult for our installers to completely clean. Our installers will clean up after themselves however there may be additional cleaning required by the client. If this occurs – it will only be minimal.
- Align Kitchens only use reputable and trusted tradespeople however, we cannot be held liable for damages caused by other trades that we have recommended. In the unlikely event this occurs, please work this out with the tradesperson responsible.
- Although Align Kitchens cannot be held responsible for a third-party contractor failing to communicate, show up or perform their duties – we will work with you to assist in its completion wherever possible.
- Safety is of paramount importance and while our installers and tradesmen will use precautions where necessary it is still considered a construction zone and safety hazards may be present and may result in injury. The client assumes all responsibility and enters at their own risk.
- Quality checks are jointly performed by the installer and client upon completion. If we have missed a scratch or broken product, it is the client's obligation to report it within 48 hours of installation otherwise it will assumed to be caused by others including wear and tear.
- During your installation, unavoidable damage may occur to existing surfaces. An example of this may be where walls are damaged in relocating power points or stone is lifted into a tight space between walls. While every effort is made to minimize any damage, Align Kitchens are not responsible for minor repairs that may be required. Where existing sinks, taps, appliances, or vanity basins are being removed and reinstalled, problems may arise that are beyond our control. This can be due to age, general wear and tear or the way they were originally installed.
For Example:
- Basins could be chipped or cracked.
- Taps may leak.
- Appliances may cease to work.
Align Kitchens and our suggested trades will take care in doing everything they can to ensure this does not happen, however if it does, they cannot be held liable for additional costs that may arise.
